How to Clean Up a Solana Wallet

Start with a wallet inventory

Review SPL tokens, Token-2022 tokens, NFTs, and empty accounts separately. Check mint addresses rather than trusting symbols or artwork. If you are uncertain about an asset, leave it untouched until you understand its source and purpose.

Work in small, reviewed batches and verify each confirmed transaction before continuing.

Avoid interacting with suspicious links

Spam tokens and NFTs often include names or metadata designed to send you to a malicious website. You do not need to visit those links to remove the asset. Use a trusted interface, verify the transaction instructions, and never enter a seed phrase into a website.

Make cleanup a periodic habit

Occasional reviews make it easier to recognize new assets and keep the wallet understandable. The goal is not to reach zero token accounts; it is to retain the accounts you use and safely remove only those you do not.
